CHRISTMAS FETTUCCINI 
1 lb. fettuccini pasta
1 stick butter
1 c. finely grated Parmesan cheese

Cook the pasta in boiling water. Add a dash of salt for taste.

While the fettuccini is cooking, take a large pasta bowl and mash the stick of butter with the cheese. Make sure and spread the mix around the bowl.

When the fettuccini is done (it should be soft, but not extremely soft), drain the water in a strainer and immediately put the hot fettuccini pasta in the bowl with the cheese and butter. Stir in the cheese and butter with the pasta so the butter and cheese melt. Make sure to mix the pasta with the cheese and butter well. Add some freshly ground pepper.
