MIESNER SISTERS' OATMEAL-COCONUT
CRISP
 
2 c. butter, softened
2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 c. granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
4 eggs
3 c. flour, sifted
6 c. quick oats
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut

Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Stir in vanilla. Then add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir together flour and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in oats and coconut. Drop by teaspoon about 2" apart onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 14 dozen. May also be baked as cookie bars in jelly roll pan.
