“CAROLINA BEEF STEW” IS IN:

CAROLINA BEEF STEW 
1 large London Broil, cut into bite-sized pieces
salt and pepper
1/2 cup oil
1 cup flour
1 onion, chopped
2 packs McCormick's Beef Stew Seasoning Mix
8 cups water
1 tbsp. Worcestershire
half a bag of red potatoes, peeled and chopped

Put the oil in a large Dutch oven. Salt and pepper the meat and dredge it in the flour. Brown the meat in the oil until it forms a slight crust. Add the chopped onion, McCormick's Seasoning Mix, water, and Worcestershire. Add potatoes and simmer for at least 1 hour, preferably more. Stir frequently to keep it from sticking. Thicken with cornstarch if you like. Serve with white rice.
