CINNAMON SCENTED CHRISTMAS TREE
ORNAMENTS
 
2 lg. (3 1/2 oz.) cans cinnamon
10 tbsp. warm applesauce

These are tree decorations--not for eating.

Mix the cinnamon and applesauce. Dust a cutting board with a small amount of cinnamon. Roll out the mixture to 1/4 inch thickness. Using cookie cutters or patterns and a knife to cut out decorations. Place cut ornaments on a flat surface and insert a toothpick in the top of each to make hole for stringing. Allow to dry and harden for approximately 2 hours before handling.

Place a very light weight object on top of the decorations if necessary to prevent decorations from curling up. These can be made in designs suitable for every holiday--or just your favorite objects--and used to add a lovely cinnamon fragrance to every room in the house.
