FRESH COCONUT CREAM PIE 
1 c. grated coconut
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine and cook in double boiler. Pour in baked crust, top with meringue, made of 3 egg whites, 6 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Sprinkle with extra coconut and brown.
