GRANOLA CEREAL | |
2 c. old fashioned oats 1 c. shredded coconut 1/2 c. wheat germ 1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts or almonds 1 tsp. salt 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk 1/4 c. oil 1 1/2 c. raisins Combine oats, coconut, wheat germ, nuts and salt in a large bowl. Stir in condensed milk. Add oil and mix thoroughly. Spread mixture on a shallow baking pan lined with wax paper. Bake at 300 degrees, stirring occasionally, for 1 hour or until golden. Remove from oven and stir in raisins while still warm. Cool and store in tightly covered container. |
