GLASGOW PUNCH 
The toast for this drink is "To the trade of Glasgow and the outward bound!"

6 lemons
2 c. light rum
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. dark rum

Squeeze lemons and mix with sugar and rum in a punch bowl. Leave the lemon halves in the bowl. Dilute with plain water or soda. This can also be served as a hot punch by adding boiling water (be sure to have a ladle in the bowl if you do that).
