LITE-EATING STRAWBERRY-PINEAPPLE BAVARIAN | |
1 (3 oz.) pkg. sugar free strawberry flavored gelatin 1 can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple in natural juice, undrained 1/2 pkg. (2.6 oz. size) dessert topping mix (1 envelope) 1/2 c. skim milk In 1-quart glass measure, dissolve gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in 1/2 cup cold water and the pineapple with its juice. Refrigerate 30 minutes or until slightly thickened. In large bowl, prepare topping mix as package label directs, using skim milk. Fold thickened gelatin mixture into topping. Pour into 1-quart mold. Refrigerate 3 hours, or until firm. To serve: Dip mold into bowl of warm water. Pat mold dry; invert Bavarian onto serving platter. If desired garnish with unhulled strawberries and fresh pineapple wedges. Makes 8 servings, 51 calories each. |
