NEVER-FAIL PIE CRUST 
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. shortening
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. vinegar

Mix dry ingredients in large bowl. Set aside.

In small bowl, beat egg. Add water and vinegar. Cut shortening into dry ingredients. Stir in egg/water/vinegar mixture until all flour is moistened. Divide into 4 balls. Roll out crust on floured surface. (Makes two 2 crust pies.)
