NO FAIL PIE CRUST 
BATCH #1:

4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 3/4 c. shortening

BATCH #2:

1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 egg

Mix the ingredients in Batch #1 together with a fork until the mixture is crumbly. Mix the ingredients in Batch #2 together in a separate container, then mix the 2 batches together. Stir until well moistened.

Chill the mixture for 30 minutes, then roll out. Makes 4 single crust pies or 2 double crust pies.
