1 c. butter
2 c. light brown sugar
1 c. mashed potatoes
4 eggs
2 sq. melted chocolate
3/4 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream sugar and butter. Add mashed potatoes. Then add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add chocolate. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with buttermilk until well mixed. Stir in raisins, dates and nuts. Pour into well greased Bundt pan and bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes until cake tests done.
