GRANOLA 
6 c. rolled oats
1 c. wheat germ
1/2 c. unprocessed Miller's bran
1/2 c. hulled sesame seeds
1/2 c. sunflower seeds, unsalted
1 c. pecans
1/4 c. slivered almonds
1/3 c. honey
1/3 c. oil (safflower or corn)
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. dried apples

Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl. Stir honey and oil together until smooth and add to dry ingredients. Toss lightly and spread on large cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 1/2 hour. Stir frequently for even browning. Granola is done when crisp and lightly toasted. Cool and add raisins and apples. Store in large glass container. Serve with milk or eat dry as a snack.
