DATE PUDDING/BARS 
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. dates, cut fine
1 c. nuts, chopped

Stir sugar into eggs; add milk, then vanilla. Sift together flour and baking powder; add to eggs and sugar. Add dates and nuts. Bake in greased 7 x 11 inch pan at 350 degrees about 40 minutes.

Cut into squares; dust with powdered sugar. Makes 2 dozen bars. For individual servings, cut into larger squares and serve with whipped cream.
