SPECIALTIES - FILLED NOODLE
SQUARES
 
3 eggs, slightly beaten
Flour (Hungarians measure by hand amount for dough)
1/4 lb. butter
Lekvar or cottage cheese for filling

Make noodle dough. Roll out very thin. On half of dough put teaspoon of lekvar or cottage cheese 1 1/2 to 2 inches apart. Fold over half of dough over dough with the fillings. Cut in squares being sure that each square is sealed tight. Cook in boiling salted water about 8 to 10 minutes. Rinse with hot water. Drain. Melt butter and pour over noodles. Salt to taste.
