1 head cauliflower
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 c. grated cheese
Snow peas (optional)
1 c. scalded milk
2 tbsp. flour
Salt and pepper to taste

Steam cauliflower 15 minutes in boiling water. Make cheese sauce by adding milk gradually to butter with flour mixed in. Stir constantly until mixture boils. Remove from heat and add cheese, salt and pepper. Put cauliflower in buttered covered casserole dish; pour cheese sauce over it and bake 30 minutes in 350 degree oven. Remove lid last 5 minutes. Snow peas may be added with the cheese sauce.
