APRICOT BARS 
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. quick oatmeal
3/4 c. butter
1 c. apricot jam

Mix the flour, baking powder, brown sugar and oatmeal. Cut in butter until crumbly. Pat 2/3 of this mixture in a 13x9 pan. Spread with jam. Cover with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees about 35 minutes. Cool. Cut in bars.
