BAKED APPLES 
4 lg. baking apples (8 to 10 oz. each)
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. raisins or finely chopped
1/4 c. ground cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter cut into 4 chunks

Core apples. Peel skin from top 1 inch of each apple.

In small dish, combine brown sugar, raisins and cinnamon. Stuff each apple with an equal amount of raisin mixture. Put top of each apple with chunk of butter.

Arrange apples in 9-inch square baking dish. Cover dish with plastic wrap microwave at high for 7 to 9 minutes or until apples are tender rotating dish once. Let stand for 5 minutes. Just before serving spoon juices from bottom of baking dish over apples.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
