BAKED APPLES 
Med.-sized baking apples (Rome Beauty, green, Washington)

1. Wash and core apples. Fill center of each apple with raisins and sugar. Dot with butter and cinnamon.

2. Place apples in saucepan or skillet (use size pan most adaptable to quantity desired). Cover and place over medium heat. When cover is hot and steam escapes, reduce heat to low. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until tender.
