SOUR CREAM - GREEN BEAN
CASSEROLE
 
2-3 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sugar
Grated onion to taste
1 c. sour cream
2 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen French style beans
1/2 lb. grated cheddar cheese
1/2 c. corn flakes; optional

Combine 2 tablespoons butter and flour; cook gently. Remove from heat, stir in seasonings, sugar, onion, and sour cream. Fold in beans. Place in shallow 2 quart casserole dish. Cover with cheese. Mix corn flakes with remaining butter. Sprinkle over cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
