EASY FRUIT PIE 
Apples, peeled and sliced (enough to cover bottom of dish)
1 egg
1 stick butter, melted
1 c. sugar and more to sweeten apples
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. flour
6 slices bread

Cook apples, sweetened to taste. Place in baking dish. Cut each slice bread in 4 pieces. Put on top of apples. Mix egg, butter, cup of sugar, vanilla and flour and spread on top of bread pieces. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until brown. Serves 4.
