2/3 c. cornstarch
1/3 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. flour

Sift cornstarch and flour. Cream butter; add sugar, then cornstarch and flour mixture. Roll into small balls (1-1 1/2 inches) and place on cookie sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes.

Frost with powdered sugar frosting with almond flavoring and food coloring. A favorite for Christmas with red and green colored frosting.
