RHUBARB COBBLER 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
2 c. rhubarb, chopped
1 c. hot water
1 c. sugar
Cinnamon

Melt butter in 8 inch pan. Make a batter of the flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder and milk. Spoon batter over melted butter. Place rhubarb over batter. Stir 1 cup sugar into 1 cup hot water until it dissolves. Pour over rhubarb. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with cream.

Makes 4 to 6 servings.
