APPLESAUCE CAKE 
1 3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. unsweetened applesauce, heated
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter; add sugar and blend well. Add beaten eggs and applesauce. Toss raisins with a small amount of flour and add along with remaining ingredients. Turn into a greased and floured tube pan and bake for 1 hour at 325°F.
