DUTCH APPLE PIE 
Pastry for 9 inch pie
1 qt. sliced apples
3 tbsp. melted butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt

TOPPING:

3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. butter

Toss sliced apples in melted butter. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and salt. Turn apples in pastry. Cover with topping. Bake at 450 for 15 minutes, reduce to 350 for 45 minutes.
