PAT GRAY'S BEEF BAR-B-Q 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped fine
1 1/4 c. tomato catsup
1 tsp. mustard (dry or wet)
1 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 c. water
2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. thyme
Salt & pepper to taste

Brown ground beef and drain. Add all ingredients and blend well. Simmer 30 minutes. Serves 6.
