CHILI 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 1/2 lg. onion, diced
1 c. (or more) bell pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 cans chili beans (Joan of Arc or Bush)
2 packs of chili mix (McCormick)
1 c. water
Red ground pepper
Buds of garlic

Use small amount of grease to brown ground beef and onions and pepper. Add tomato sauce, chili beans and chili mix. Dice 4 or 5 buds of garlic (more if desired) and add to above mixture along with water and red pepper to suit taste. Simmer about 3 hours.
