COLORFUL BEEF STEW 
1 1/2-2 lbs. beef stew meat
1 jar Heinz mushroom gravy
1 green bell pepper (julienned)
1 red bell pepper (julienned)
1/2 lb. mushrooms (quartered)
1 sm. onion (julienned)
1 garlic, minced
2 c. water
1 tbsp. cooking oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Heat a large pot with cooking oil. Add garlic, then meat and brown evenly. Add gravy, then meat and brown evenly. Add gravy and cook for 5 minutes. Add water, bring to boil. Simmer down with cover for 1/2 hour or until meat is tender.

Add all the vegetable and cook in medium heat until the vegetables are tender but not over-cooked. Taste and salt and pepper as needed. Serve warm with steamed rice or cooked egg noodles. Yield: 4 servings.
