BEEF STEW | |
2 lbs. beef for stew 1 env. (1 1/2 oz.) brown gravy mix with mushrooms 1 1/2 c. water 3 c. celery, cut into 1 inch pieces 4 med. carrots, cut into chunks 4 med. potatoes, peeled and halved 1 lg. onion, sliced, separated into rings Arrange meat in 3 quart microproof casserole. Blend gravy mix with water and pour over meat. Cover with lid and cook (micro) on 50% power for 60 minutes or until vegetables and meat are tender. Let stand covered 15 minutes before serving. Serves 4-6. |
