BBQ CHICKEN | |
Place broilers on grill, skin side up. Cook 10 to 15 minutes, baste skin with sauce, turn and baste cut sides. Turn over every 10 to 15 minutes basting before and after turning. Cook broilers until they are well done, about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Broilers are done when drumstick will twist out readily. Yield: 8 servings. MISSISSIPPI BARBECUE SAUCE: 1 c. vegetable oil 2 c. cider vinegar 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce 1/4 tsp. red pepper 4 tbsp. salt 1/2 tsp. garlic powder Combine above ingredients. Keep hot while basting. |
