FUDGE RIBBON CAKE 
BASE:

1 pkg. devils food cake mix
3 eggs
1/3 c. oil
1 c. water

FILLING:

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Blend all filling ingredients; beat at highest speed until smooth; set aside.

Blend cake mix, eggs, oil and water until moistened. Beat 2 minutes at highest speed. Pour 1/2 of batter into greased and floured pan. Pour cream cheese mixture over batter, spreading to cover.

Pour remaining batter over cream cheese mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes. Cool. Frost with fudge frosting. Store in refrigerator.
