MICROWAVE CHILI CON CARNE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
16 oz. can tomato sauce
1 lb. can kidney beans

Crumble beef in a 2 quart casserole dish. Add onion and garlic. Cook, uncovered, for about 5 minutes, or until meat looses red color. Add remaining ingredients. Cook, covered, for about 15 minutes on high or until piping hot. Stir occasionally.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
