FRESH CRANBERRY CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
4 eggs
5 oz. can Carnation evaporated milk
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. frozen cranberries, or fresh
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream together butter and sugar, 1 cup at a time. Add 1 egg at a time, beating thoroughly, until all eggs are added. Stir in vanilla and milk. Blend in flour, berries and nuts. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hours.
