QUICK AND EASY DUMP CAKE 
1 (20 oz.) standard size can pie filling, any flavor
1 Jiffy yellow cake mix
4 to 5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. raisins (great with apple), or chopped walnuts (great with cherry) (optional)
1 (2 quart) casserole

Pour 1/2 of the pie filling in the bottom of "pan". Flatten. Sprinkle 1/2 of the dry cake mix over the top. (Here you can add raisins or walnuts.) Pour the rest of the can of pie filling over that. Flatten or smooth. Sprinkle balance of dry cake mix on top. In all four "corners" place a dab of butter, and one in the middle. Cover, VENT CLOSED. Cook 5 minutes on High (in microwave). Turn "pan" 1/4 turn. Microwave 5 more minutes on High. Uncover and serve as is or with ice cream. Bake in conventional oven 35 to 40 minutes at 375 degrees. Serves 6 to 8 people.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
