WORLD FAMOUS GOOP 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 can tomato soup, undiluted
1 lg. green pepper, chopped fine
2 med. onions, chopped fine
1/2 c. catsup
1 heaping tsp. yellow mustard
2 carrots, chopped fine (optional)

Brown the meat first. Grind up onions and peppers; add to meat. Add the soup, catsup and mustard. Let it cook at least 1 hour. Add salt if you wish.

NOTE: Batch can be doubled but only use 1 can of soup.

After it cooks a while, skim off some of the juice. You can also add carrots. Adding carrots does not affect the taste; just adds color. Serve on warmed hamburger rolls with chips and pickles.
