MY GRANDMOTHER'S COFFEE CAKE 
2 c. Presto
1 c. sugar
2 c. milk
1 egg
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

Scant c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Beat cake ingredients well. Pour into large square or round pan that has been greased and floured. Sprinkle topping evenly on top of batter. Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees.
