PEEL - A - POUND SOUP | |
1 sm. head cabbage, shredded 3 carrots, cut up 1 lg. onion, sliced thin 4 c. beef broth (canned or bouillon will do) 1 lg. can crushed tomatoes, add last and heat 1 sm. bay leaf Salt and pepper to taste Just cook together in large pot until veggies are tender, except tomatoes. Add tomatoes and heat. Keep on hand in refrigerator for the hungries - eat instead of a doughnut. Hopefully get a pound off. Good luck! |
