ITALIAN SPAGHETTI SAUCE WITH
BEEF
 
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic
3/4 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. oil
1 can tomato puree
1 tbsp. salt
1 bay leaf
1 can tomato paste (sm. can)
1 c. water
1 tbsp. sugar
Dash pepper

In frying pan, saute onion in oil. Add garlic. Place beef in pan and heat together until beef turns brown. Transfer to pot. Add remaining ingredients. Cook for 1-1 1/2 hours or until done.

If you want to add meatballs, add them after cooking sauce about 45 minutes and cook together until sauce is done.
