CHILI PIE 
1 lb. ground beef or turkey
1 (15 oz.) can chili with beans
1/4 c. chopped onions
1/4 c. chopped green peppers
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
1 can tomato soup
1/2 c. catsup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. chili pepper
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 c. picante sauce

BISCUITS:

3 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/8 c. milk

Brown ground beef. Drain the grease off. Add rest of the ingredients. Bring to boil and let simmer until biscuits are made. Place chili in 2 quart or 11x17 cake pan. Cover top with 1/4 inch of Velveeta cheese (optional). Drop biscuits in 2x2 inch sections on top of chili. Bake at 375 degrees until biscuits are brown.
