DEATH BY CHOCOLATE | |
1 family size box fudge brownie mix 1/4-1/2 c. Kahlua or coffee liqueur 3 (3.5 oz.) boxes Jello chocolate mousse 8 Heath candy bars (frozen) 1 (12 oz.) container whipped topping (or whipped cream) Bake brownies as directed in 13 x 9 inch pan. Cool slightly. Punch holes with fork and pour on Kahlua. Chill. Prepare mousse as directed. Crush frozen candy bars by hammering in wrapper. Crumble brownies into chunks. In clean 13 x 9 inch pan layer 1/2 the brownies, 1/2 the mousse, 1/2 the candy and 1/2 the topping. Repeat layers. Decorate with shaved or grated chocolate if desired. Chill overnight, or freeze ahead. (It serves better if very thoroughly chilled.) Cut into small servings. Rich, expensive and decadent, but worth it! |
