LASAGNA ROLL UPS 
1 box lasagna
32 oz. prepared spaghetti sauce or the equivalent of your own favorite recipe
1 lb. Italian sausage
1/4 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onions
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. basil leaves
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. Mozzarella cheese
12 oz. carton cottage cheese or ricotta
1 egg, beaten
Grated Parmesan cheese, if desired

Cook lasagna noodles to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain and rinse under cold water; set aside.

In large skillet, brown sausage (which has been removed from casing) with onion and ground beef over medium heat; drain. Stir in bread crumbs, basil, pepper, Mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, and egg.

Spread 2 cups spaghetti sauce over bottom of 13 x 9 baking dish. Cut each lasagna noodle in half crosswise; spread about 1/4 cup of sausage mixture evenly on each half. Roll up from shorter side and place seam side down in pan. Pour remaining sauce over top.

Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
