MEAT BALLS AND POTATOES 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 lb. pork sausage
5 or 6 med. potatoes, sliced
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. marjoram
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix well beef and pork sausage. Shape into balls (about ice cream scoop size). Roll in flour. Saute balls in a little fat, butter in a heavy Dutch oven, hot, until evenly browned. Group balls in center of pot. Arrange sliced potatoes around balls, then sliced onion and green pepper. Sprinkle spices on it all, salt and pepper. Add water up to the onion layer, cover and bake for 1 hour or until done at 350 degrees. Check once in a while for moisture.
