2 eggs
2 cubes butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Enough flour to make a stiff dough

Cream butter, add sugar, eggs, vanilla, and water. Blend well. Add baking soda and flour. Blend well. Roll dough, to desired thickness and cut into desired shapes. Sprinkle with sugar and nutmeg. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes until light brown.
