CHOCOLATE PIE | |
3 egg yolks 3/4 c. sugar 1 c. Carnation milk 3 tbsp. self rising flour 1 tbsp. plus 3/4 tsp. Hershey's cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla Beat egg yolks, add sugar, flour and cocoa; beat until dissolved. Slowly blend in milk and flavoring and pour into unbaked pie shell and bake in 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Make one pie. Beat 3 egg whites until stiff. Add 6 tablespoons sugar, one tablespoon at a time. Fold in 1/4 teaspoon vanilla; spread on top of pie and brown. |
