GOOD BROWN STEW 
2 lbs. boneless beef chuck (1 inch cubes)
2 c. hot water
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 med. onion, sliced
2 bay leaves
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Pinch of allspice
1 tsp. sugar
6 carrots, halved
8 sm. onions
3 potatoes, quartered

Thoroughly brown meat on all sides in hot fat in pressure cooker. Add all ingredients except vegetables. Cook at 10 pounds for 30 minutes. Open cooker, add vegetables, continue cooking 10 minutes at 10 pounds.
