ENGLISH TOFFEE 
Unsalted saltine crackers
1 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
Chopped walnuts
1 (12 oz.) bag semi sweet chocolate bits

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line large cookie sheet with tin foil. Place crackers on foil. Melt butter in sauce pan. Add sugar, dissolve and boil for 3 minutes, use wire whip. Pour butter and sugar batter over saltines. Place in oven for 5 minutes (no longer). Remove pan from oven and drop chocolate bits on top to melt. Spread over entire tray. Sprinkle walnuts on top. Refrigerate and then break into pieces.
