2 1/3 c. flour
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1/4 c. sour cream or buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips

Cream butter, beat in sugar about 5 minutes. Add vanilla, eggs, sour cream or buttermilk and oatmeal. Beat. Gradually add flour, soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
