CHICKEN PIE 
1 lg. chicken
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. shortening
1 c. milk
1 sm. onion
1/4 c. celery
1/2 c. frozen peas
Flour

Cook chicken until tender, cool, remove from bone. Place in pan. To broth, add onion, celery and peas. Add enough flour and make medium thick gravy. Pour gravy over chicken.

Mix 1 1/2 cup flour, baking powder, salt, shortening, milk and egg together to make thick batter. Drop batter over chicken and gravy. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. Serve hot.
