CURRY STEW | |
1 lb. stew meat 1/2 tbsp. salt 3 tbsp. curry powder 2 c. water 6 carrots, cut in pieces 3 potatoes, cut in pieces 1 onion, chopped 3 stalks celery, cut in pieces Boil meat in salted water for 1/2 hour. Rinse meat with water to get rid of residue. Add 2 cups water and curry powder. Cook for 1 1/2 hours until meat is tender. During last 45 minutes cooking time, add your carrots, potatoes, onion and celery to cooking pot. Serves 6. |
