2 EGG CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. buttermilk
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. boiling water

Cream sugar and shortening well; add eggs and beat. Sift together flour and cocoa. Add flour-cocoa mixture and remaining ingredients, except boiling water, and mix; then add boiling water and mix. Batter will be very thin. Pour into 2 (8 or 9 inch) pans.

Bake in moderate 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes.

Frost with Fudge Frosting.
