HOT PEPPER JELLY 
1 c. sweet bell pepper
1/2 c. hot pepper
1 box powdered pectin
2 c. vinegar (cider)
1 lg. onion
6 1/2 c. sugar
Food coloring

Grind peppers and onions (or use food processor or blender). Add vinegar and 1 box pectin. Bring to a boil then add the sugar. Cook 1 minute. Pour through jelly bag or cheese cloth. Add green food coloring. Pour into sterile jars and seal.

Wear gloves when fixing hot peppers or you will burn the skin on your fingers. Serve with cream cheese and crackers.
